What, Exactly, Does The Process Involve?

IN THE SIMPLEST TERMS, HYDRO-FRACTURING TAKES WATER UNDER EXTREMELY HIGH PRESSURE AND INJECTS IT INTO A BEDROCK FORMATION.

The force of the water removes particles and fragments, allowing the water flow to increase. A network of bedrock formations can also be made, which can increase the supply of water. The procedure is an option if you’re dealing with low-productivity wells. It carries a 95% success rate.

Two packers are placed 40 and 60 feet below the ground, respectively, to seal the well and prevent any contaminants from entering it. The high-pressure water is then used to open the bedrock, and only potable water is used in order to prevent contamination.

HYDRO-FRACTURING CAN HELP TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY LEVEL OF YOUR WATER WELL.

Typically, a single packer system as described on this page is sufficient for single-household wells. If successful hydro-fracturing is done, each well usually sees an uptake of between ½ and 5 gallons per minute.
